Over the past 10 years in the mortgage industry, Jeff helped families navigate complex financial and probate matters. His experience has prepared him to serve with fairness, diligence, and compassion. He is committed to ensuring the probate process is efficient, transparent, and accessible while protecting the interests of beneficiaries. Having experienced close family loss, he understands the challenges families face and will work to ensure they are treated with respect and care during difficult times.

Don McKeough

Committed to bringing empathy and compassion to Orphans Court. Don draws on a lifetime of experience in non-profit leadership, conflict resolution, and compassionate decision-making to serve the hard-working families of Queen Anne's County. Don has served as Director of the Board for the Disabled Dive Club and the Cotting School for the Blind. He has also volunteered with the Virgin Island Search and Rescue, Concierge Services at Ann Arundle Medical Center, and as a Big Brother. Don is committed to bringing fairness, integrity, and empathy to the Queen Anne’s County Orphans’ Court.

Barry Schwartz

Dedicated to serving with integrity, compassion, fairness, and respect. Barry is a retired attorney, business executive, Democrat, and community leader dedicated to serving Queen Anne’s County. A longtime Eastern Shore resident, Barry currently serves as President of his Community Association Board and was elected to the Queen Anne’s County Democratic Central Committee in 2022. Known for his empathetic and thoughtful approach, Barry believes the Orphans’ Court should treat every family with dignity, respect, and understanding during life’s most difficult transitions.
